We stumbled across a BBQ Cook-off in the spring of 2003 as spectators.  Talk about a life changing experience! 

A half hour of wandering around in the smoke was all we needed to convince us that we needed to enter a competition.

The next day, we found a smoker and started preparing for our first cook-off.  We ended up winning a First Place at that event and never looked back. 

The first few years, we only cooked in Texas, but eventually found a whole universe of BBQ fanatics just like us scattered across the nation. 

Now we cook 20+ events each year and travel all over the country.  You might say we're obsessed.  And you might be right!
